What do They Learn?
Skills that Grow with Them

Two skill sets run through every session, helping young people build skills they can use at home, with friends, at school and throughout life.

  • Connection Skills - confidence, listening, conversation, speaking up, seeing another's point of view, disagreeing respectfully.

  • Happiness Practices - happiness as wholeness, working with negative emotions, resilience, gratitude, vision and purpose.

The three Built for Life paths develop the same

essential skills at different stages of growth.

The topics become more sophisticated, the understanding goes deeper, and the opportunities to practice become more challenging - so what begins as a simple conversation or activity can grow into genuine self-awareness, confidence and life skills.
